This article will have basic vocabularies about the class, such as “exam” and “score”. The unique term here is 考鴨蛋, which is a term used colloquially (and humorously) to say “to get a zero score”.
Yesterday, Mom and Dad were not at home, so Dalin and Xiaolin had instant noodles. Who knows that because Dalin put too much chili powder, Kobayashi got diarrhea. However, he looked much better this morning.
Dalin: “Is your stomach better?”
Xiaolin: “Yes, I am much better.”
Dalin: “You can rest assured that I won’t put chili powder next time.”
Xiaolin: “That’s good, I won’t be poisoned by you in the future.”
Dalin: “Well, I will put milk powder in the future.”
Xiaolin: “Big Brother, please, if you do it, I really won’t eat the dishes you made in the future.”
Dalin laughed heartily
Dalin: “You can’t cook. If I’m not here, what do you want to eat before going to school? Stone?”
Xiaolin: “Oh, yes, speaking about, what day is it today?”
Dalin: “Sunday, What happened?”
Xiaolin: “Sunday? For real? I have a math test tomorrow!”
Dalin: “Then you are finished.”
Xiaolin: “Why don’t you tell me that it is Sunday today!”
Dalin: “How can I know you have an exam tomorrow?”
Xiaolin: “Okay, I’ll stop talking to you now, I have to go to my room to review.”
Xiaolin ran to his room and closed the door.
Dalin thought: “Xiaolin will be nervous every time he had a math exam, then go to the room and lock the door and say that he wants to review. But why is his score still very low? His scores almost score a duck egg (zero).”
